We encourage you to introduce your puppy to grooming from the time your puppy is vaccinated. Getting accustomed to the noises of being groomed, physical contact, having its ears cleaned and nails clipped is essential in ensuring your dog enjoys the grooming process.
While playing with your dog it has been recommended that you simulate actions your dog groomer performs whilst your dog is being groomed. This includes playing with your dog’s ears, touch its feet, check its nails, and even check their teeth by holding the jaw and opening the mouth.
Essentially, this is so your dog becomes more comfortable with these actions during their routine check-ups.
